Our Story
How a Single Question Sparked a Legacy:
When Laura Huffman passed away after her courageous 16-year battle with breast cancer, her husband Josh was left with her beautiful wigs and a simple question: Where can these go to help someone else?
When he reached out to Laura’s close friend, Vanessa Wilson, owner of Instyle Family Salon in Pandora, they realized our larger community was missing a dedicated space where women facing hair loss could go to find gently used, high-quality wigs who may not be able to afford one otherwise, and where families could lovingly pass theirs forward. Laura absolutely loved her naturally curly hair. In her honor, Josh and Vanessa founded Loving Laura’s Curls—not just as a wig donation center, but as a sanctuary. Our mission is to gift donated wigs to women navigating cancer treatment, helping them face the fight with confidence, dignity, and a smile.
